Review unfinished setup
If you already used Touch ID in the earlier Spending setup, your device may hold an unconnected passkey. That version did not save its registration details before verification. The app cannot safely reconnect it after a reload.
Review the Spending passkey for this website in Apple Passwords. You can keep the old key or remove it yourself before creating a replacement. The app never deletes a passkey or saved vault.

Keep a recovery secret.
This secret can unlock your encrypted backup. Copy it somewhere you control, separately from the backup. It is not saved in this app.

Encrypted backup and recovery
Backups contain encrypted records and original PDFs, never the recovery secret. Restoring refuses to overwrite an existing vault.
Your records stay encrypted in this browser. There’s no bank connection and no cloud copy. Clearing this browser’s data removes them, so keep a backup. Your device decides whether to use Face ID, Touch ID or another method.
